Arduino Mega is a board with Atmega2560 microprocessor. It has 54 digital input/output pins (14 of which can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog outputs, 4 UART (hardware serial ports), 16 MHz crystal oscillator, USB connector, voltage input connector, ICSP connector and reset button.

It has all the circuit elements needed to run the microcontroller. Simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or supply input voltage with an AC-DC converter or a battery. Mega is compatible with most Shields designed for other Arduinos.

In addition to all these features, Mega 2560 R3 has SDA and SCL pins as well as AREF pins. There are also two new pins next to the RESET pin. The first of these is the Arduino Shield, thanks to the IOREF pin and the voltage provided by the board. runs them. The other pin is not connected anywhere and is left blank for future applications. Thanks to this empty pin, it can work in harmony with the Shields that will be removed in the future.
