JS60F Infrared Sensor (60cm Range with Background Suspension)

Meet our new JS60F Infrared Sensor, developed through nearly two years of R&D and valuable feedback from our customers.

The JS40F (our classic model) has been used in thousands of robots and continues to be a trusted choice today.

Based on user feedback, we slightly increased the sensing range while also reducing the overall size to the smallest practical form factor possible without compromising quality or performance.

In addition, we redesigned the connector system to improve ease of installation and maintenance. The JS60F now features a locking connector with a 20 cm cable, providing a more secure and user-friendly connection. Also wires are thin as robot's complexity increases thing AWG wires help for more tidier assemblies.

Improvements Compared to the Previous Version

• Up to 20 cm increase in sensing range
• Sensor width reduced by 16%, from 18.5 mm to 15.7 mm
• Sensor height reduced by 6%, from 13.7 mm to 12.9 mm
• Sensor thickness reduced by 6%, from 12.4 mm to 11.7 mm

While these dimensional changes may appear modest at first glance, they represent the maximum size reduction we were able to achieve without compromising circuit quality, measurement stability, or overall performance.

The result is our highest performance infrared sensor to date, offering improved range in a significantly more compact package. These volume reductions also make integration easier, especially in designs that utilize multiple sensors (such as 5 sensor Mini sumo robot designs) and require efficient use of available space.
