Economical and powerful DC Motor for Sumo Robots with custom gearboxes. (we have gears too!) Same model used at our robot JSUMO which won 2.place at All International Robot Sumo 2013. Popular model for lots of Japanese sumo robots too.
- Motor has 35mm diameter, shaft diameter is 6mm.
- 15 volt (273752), 24 volt (323890), 48 volt options are available (We suggest 24V Model)
- At 24V motor have 7800 rpm
- Maximum current drain is Stall 40 Amps, Continuous 5A
- Motor’s weight is 340 Gram.

Based on my experiences, Maxon RE35 models (35mm diameter, 340 gr) have better usage capability than RE40 (40mm diameter, 480 gr) motor models for sumo robot projects. They are cheaper and much lighter. Which means you will less consume time about fitting all systems under 3kg
