  • Used for suppressing excessive energy of kickback of inductive drivers (Motor Controllers).

    Suggested to be used with all type high energy fast manuevering robotics projects to protect circuits from high inductive voltages.

    How to use?

    You need to connect positive and negative terminals to battery inputs of circuit or connector. Same as connecting capacitor. Clamp circuit will not conduct any voltage under 27.5V and when voltage arise to 27.5V Mosfet line will be opened and esxecc voltage will be burnt inside resistor bank. At this time you can see also ACT led will turn on and turn off.

    Caution: Vortex module MUST be only used under 27.5V systems such as 6S (25.2V), 5S (21.0V) or 4S (16.8V) systems. At higher voltages module will be damaged.

    What is difference than TVS or MOV components?

    At transient voltage supression MOV and TVS components are widely used in electronics but for general they have 2 difference than vortex (voltage clamp). 

    1. Wider Voltage tolerances: For instance 27V clamp voltage TVS diodes may start at conduct 30V under 1ma current and it can have not presicion value. 

    2. Energy supression: Small components can supress smaller energy usually, big components can transorb bigger energy.
